SBI Club Vistara Credit Card Review (Renewal benefit discontinued post Apr 2025; Vistara→Air India)

SBI Card · Airline co-brand · Visa Signature · Vistara merged into Air India (late 2024) · Renewal-fee & PE ticket benefit discontinued after 1 Apr 2025
Our score: 6.4 / 10
Annual fee: ₹1,499 + GST
Reward rate: 3 CV points per ₹200 + welcome CV Silver
Lounge: None
Forex: 3.5%
⚠ Major changes (verified Apr 2026): Per the official SBI Card product page: “Renewal Benefit of 1 Premium Economy Ticket Voucher will be discontinued for all cards due for renewal after 01 April 2025. Fee not to be charged on such cards.” Vistara merged into Air India in late 2024, so CV Points are now redeemable on Air India and partner airlines (under the Air India loyalty programme that absorbed Club Vistara). Cards renewed before 1 Apr 2025 still get the original renewal voucher.

Best for: Existing cardholders who renewed before 1 Apr 2025 (still earning legacy benefits). New applicants should look at the Air India SBI Signature card instead, which is the active Air-India-loyalty product.

What we like
  • 3 Club Vistara Points per ₹200 on all retail categories (including fuel)
  • 1 hotel e-Voucher from Yatra worth ₹5,000 on annual spend ₹5L
  • Lost card liability cover ₹1 lakh
  • CV Points now redeemable on Air India + partner airlines (post Vistara→Air India migration)
  • Cards renewed after 1 Apr 2025: NO renewal fee charged AND no Premium Economy Ticket voucher benefit
Watch out for
  • No lounge access at this tier
  • Air India merger still in transition
  • Lower earn rate than Axis Vistara cards
  • Flying-Returns conversion value uncertain
