Japan 10-Day Itinerary 2026 — Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka Golden Route
Japan in 10 days lets you experience its perfect blend of neon cities, ancient temples, and bullet-train efficiency. This itinerary covers Tokyo, the Mt. Fuji area, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka — the classic first-timer’s “Golden Route,” with transport, costs, and tips.
Best time & visa
Cherry blossoms (late March–April) and autumn (Oct–Nov) are spectacular but busy. Indians can use the eVisa (see our Japan visa guide). A JR Pass is worth it for this much train travel.
