Who this is for

Reward structure

  • Travel, dining, international (5X): 10 RP per ₹100 = ~2.5% effective return at the standard ₹0.25 / RP cashback redemption value (the earlier “₹0.50/RP, ~5%” framing was inaccurate — BOBCARD redeems RP for cashback at 1 RP = ₹0.25, same as Eterna).
  • Other categories: 2 RP per ₹100 = ~0.5% effective.
  • Welcome: 500 bonus RP on 5K spend in 60 days
  • RP redeemable against catalogue, travel, vouchers, cashback
5X on travel + dining is meaningful for a ₹1K card. A traveller spending ₹15K/month on travel + dining = ₹1,80,000/year × 10 RP/₹100 = 18,000 RP × ₹0.25 = ₹4,500/year cashback. Against the ₹1,180 all-in fee that’s ~3.8x payback before factoring in the 500 RP welcome and 4 quarterly lounges.

Travel + lifestyle

  • Complimentary domestic airport lounge access1 visit per calendar quarter (4 per year) at participating Indian lounges per the current issuer page. Refer to BOBCARD’s lounge list / eligibility criteria for the participating lounge network.
  • 24/7 concierge assistance
  • 1% fuel surcharge waiver on 400-5,000 (max 250/cycle)
  • Complimentary accidental death cover
  • EMI conversion for purchases >2,500 (6-48 month tenures)

Should you apply?

Apply if: Spend 15-25K/month on travel/dining/international, use domestic lounges monthly, value 24/7 concierge. 1.2L annual achievable for waiver.

Skip if: Spend mostly general (2% is ordinary), or BoB 12L+ income (Eterna gives LTF + richer benefits).

CSI Rating: 7.8 / 10

The bottom line

BOBCARD Premier is a solid travel-focused mid-tier card with 10 RP/100 accelerator delivering ~5% on travel/dining, backed by 35+ domestic lounges and 24/7 concierge. Strong mid-tier option for BoB customers not at Eterna's 12L threshold.

Verified against BoB's official BOBCARD Premier page and April 2026 listings. Waiver needs both 5K in 60 days AND 1.2L annual spend.
