Singapore 4-Day Itinerary 2026 — Gardens, Sentosa, Zoo & Culture

Four days is perfect for a first Singapore trip — enough for the gardens, Sentosa, culture, and the zoo without rushing. This detailed 4-day itinerary is built for Indian travelers and families, with timings, costs, and transport tips.

Before you go

Indians need a visa via authorised agents (see our Singapore visa guide). Get an EZ-Link/tourist transit card for the excellent MRT. Singapore is warm year-round — carry an umbrella for brief showers. English is widely spoken and the city is exceptionally safe and clean.

Day-by-day plan

  • Day 1 — Marina Bay: Gardens by the Bay (Cloud Forest, Supertree Grove), Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, and the evening Spectra light show; dinner at Lau Pa Sat.
  • Day 2 — Sentosa Island: Universal Studios (or beaches + cable car + SEA Aquarium); evening Wings of Time show.
  • Day 3 — Culture & wildlife: Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam in the morning; Singapore Zoo or Night Safari in the evening.
  • Day 4 — City highlights: Jewel Changi waterfall, Orchard Road shopping, and any missed sights before departure.

Budget

Singapore is pricier than Southeast Asian neighbours, but hawker food keeps costs down. Mid-range 4-day trip: roughly ₹60,000–1,00,000 per person excluding flights (less if you skip Universal Studios and eat at hawker centres). Attractions are the main spend — book combos online.

Food & tips

  • Eat at hawker centres (Maxwell, Lau Pa Sat) — cheap and superb; Little India for Indian/veg.
  • The MRT covers almost everywhere — fast and cheap; avoid peak-hour crowds.
  • Book Universal Studios, Gardens domes, and the zoo online to save and skip lines.
  • Tap water is safe; carry a bottle.
